Ben G

Before joining the HomeSpec team in 2018, Ben graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Education. Ben worked in Detroit for three years and Ypsilanti for five years as a 7th grade math teacher. Before that, he built and remodeled homes with Dexter Builders.

Ben has extensive experience in the building and remodeling of residential homes, he is an expert in thorough inspections for our homeowners. Ben has completed extensive training in waterproofing, foundation, and crawl space repair and is a Certified Waterproofing Professional through the Basement Systems International Network of Waterproofing Contractors. No matter what problem you’re experiencing with your home, he will design a custom solution using proven processes and the best products in the industry. Ben lives with his wife, six children, dog, and chickens.  He loves being with his wife and kids, coaching and entertaining his family and friends.
