These piers are basically screwed into the ground and have extensions that can help them reach more stable, viable soil or bedrock. The weight of the home is then transferred through the pier to the new foundation support base to help hoist the home back to level. Helical piers are a versatile option that can be installed below the grade of a home, allowing easy cover upon finishing as though no work was done in the first place.
