If you notice some of the signs below in your basement, contact us for a free inspection. An inspector will tell you what the problem is, as well as the solutions available to you.

Water where the wall and floor meet

Water where the wall and floor meet means water is seeping into your basement.

A solution for stopping this includes the installation of an interior drainage system. If water seeps inside, it will go into the drainage system, where it is removed from your basement.

Condensation

Condensation in your basement is a good indicator that there is a moisture problem.

Controlling moisture can involve several different approaches depending on the cause. For instance, if you have cracks, those could be allowing water into the basement. Waterproofing the basement will keep it out.

A dehumidifier can be installed alone or in conjunction with waterproofing to keep moisture levels at bay.

Mold

Mold in the basement is a telltale sign that there is water inside.

Like condensation, water entering the basement in numerous ways can result in mold growth. In addition to mold growth in the basement, moisture issues below your living space could result in mold above.

Removing mold and waterproofing the basement will prevent more growth.
