Solution
Project manager Eric met with the family and inspected the problem firsthand. He would explain to the family that concrete is often poured over loose, weak or backfill soil during a home's construction. Over time, three things happen; the soil settles, shrinks in dry conditions, and softens and washes away completely as water runs down through cracks and joints.
