Rod holes were made when the home was originally built and the walls were poured - rods were passed through the concrete to hold the forms of the walls together and then removed.
This process leaves behind these holes in the foundation that are susceptible to leaking. Luckily they are a quick fix.
This vertical crack was leaking (as you can see in the photo), so we injected with our waterproof and flexible polyurethane sealant and then reinforced it with a carbon power grid.
This homeowner contacted HomeSpec because she had several leaking vertical cracks in her foundation, as well as over 30 leaking rod holes.
Our crew repaired the rod holes and injected the cracks with our polyurethane sealant to repair and waterproof them, and then reinforced them with carbon power grids.
