Recently, we received a call from a homeowner in Trenton, MI who was experiencing water seepage in their basement. They had told us the water was a murky brown color and was seeping through the wall, running down and collecting at the bottom of the floor. The homeowner also informed us that there was no visible crack in the wall, which made it challenging to determine the source of the water leakage. Upon receiving this information, we sent one of our Project Managers to the homeowner's location to assess the situation and determine the most appropriate basement waterproofing solution. When he arrived, he inspected the basement and confirmed that the water was seeping through the wall, which was made of poured concrete. The homeowner further revealed that the area where the water was entering was unfinished, which made it even more susceptible to water damage. To address this, our Project Manager recommended installing the WaterGuard system, a state-of-the-art waterproofing solution that is designed to capture water seepage before it reaches the basement floor.
