Clifford, Mi Concrete Slabs Leveled for Commercial Property
This commercial property in Clifford, Mi had two different areas where slabs were settling in their chip bay, creating an unsafe environment. Settled slabs can create more cracks, fractures, and general tripping hazards if left unattended. This is often caused by the voids left by the shifting and settling of soil over time, meaning the concrete above would settle, creating a hazardous surface.   Project Manager AJ's inspection would lead him to discover that the slab itself and some of the surrounding shifted concrete had begun to crack and spread by this point. There were two basic needs here, concrete leveling to get the slabs back to level for the foreseeable future, and concrete crack repair to address the problem before it continued to spread. The combination solution set of PolyLevel and NexusPro crack repair would be implemented by our crew to directly resolve the issues as quickly as possible. PolyLevel lifts and levels concrete slabs with powerful polyurethane foam. Basically, pea-sized holes are drilled into the slab and the foam is injected to fill the void underneath. The installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, perfectly, lifting the slab back up into place. The NexusPro crack repair system is a far longer lasting and reliable solution to concrete cracks than traditional caulking. It's UV-resistant and pliable nature allows it to persist through time and changing weather without breaking its bond or compromising its fresh appearance.
Owendale, Mi Foundation Support to Level Garage
A homeowner in Owendale, Mi needed help to level their sinking garage built out behind their home. Currently they were treating it like an oversized shed, built on a concrete slab foundation that was showing signs of sinking into the soil behind, there was clear evidence of washout too.   Our team would propose a solution in the shape of helical piers that would be utilized around the perimeter of the sinking corner to help lift it back into place for the foreseeable future.
Owendale, Mi Concrete Leveling to Help Sidewalk + Sealant
This homeowner in Owendale, Mi reached out to HomeSpec in order to help resolve a need for concrete lifting. The problem in this case was specifically that their sidewalk was separating and some of the concrete slabs needed to be leveled and properly sealed. In order to level the concrete, our crew would lift the slab up with expanding polyurethane foam inserted below the slabs that would push it back up and into position. We would also use our NexusPro joint sealant to reattach and firmly seal them back together. This particular sealant is both waterproof and UV-resistant, making it far more reliable as a waterproof seal than traditional caulking methods. The homeowner found their sidewalk up to code, and was satisfied with the notable visual improvement to their property.
Owendale, Mi Foundation Wall Support
An Owendale, Mi a family found notable jagged staircase pattern along their foundation walls, a clear and well recognized sign of foundation walls needing support due to hydrostatic pressure (the weight of saturated soils from outside pushing in on the walls), pushing inwards on the walls from the outside.    The PowerBrace™ Wall Repair System is the ideal way to stabilize failing foundation walls. Homeowner in Center Line, MI with Leaking Bathroom has WaterGuard and Carbon Armor Installed in Their Basement to Prevent Further Damage
A homeowner in Center Line, MI was noticing a problem in their basement bathroom, and increasingly it was beginning to cause them concern. The rest of the basement was unfinished, providing ample space for damage if the issue was left unaddressed. Determined to find a fix, they reached out to their neighbor, who had previously experienced a similar problem and recommended us as the best fit for the project.    During the initial consultation with the homeowner, they explained to our Project Manager that although the bathroom was finished with drywall, the issue had become more severe as the water had managed to seep beneath the floor. They were certain there was a vertical crack behind the bathroom wall, which was likely contributing to the water leakage. To address their concerns, our Project Manager came up with a comprehensive solution for this homeowner that involved installing the WaterGuard Drainage System and the Carbon Armor Wall System.    The first step was to address the source of the water infiltration. Our crew began by excavating a narrow trench along the perimeter of the basement, directly adjacent to the leaking bathroom. This trench allowed them to install the WaterGuard at an angle that would drain the collected water through a channel directly to the sump pump. Once the WaterGuard was in place, they turned their attention to reinforcing the foundation walls. To address the crack behind the wall, our crew installed the Carbon Armor wall system. This consisted of applying the Carbon Armor strips directly onto the cracked area, securing them with a high-strength epoxy. The carbon fiber provides immense structural support, further reinforcing the existing structure.    Once the Project was complete, the homeowner was grateful to have their peace of mind restored and a dry bathroom in their basement.
