A homeowner in Warren, MI was dealing with uneven concrete that had become a safety hazard. Unsure of what to do, the homeowners contacted HomeSpec for a solution. Knowing they could help, HomeSpec sent project manager Bill to inspect the property.

After evaluating the home, Bill created a repair plan to propose to the homeowner. The plan began with leveling the concrete. To do this, HomeSpec would inject PolyLevel® under the concrete, lifting the slabs back to an even height. PolyLevel is a durable, expanding polyurethane foam that provides the needed support.

Next, Bill recommended NexusPro Joint Sealant. This product seals concrete cracks and joints to keep water from seeping beneath the slabs. It creates a flexible, weatherproof seal, helping to protect the concrete and maintain a stable finish.

The homeowner agreed to the repair plan, and Domonique, a concrete repair specialist, got to work. Once the project was finished, the homeowner was pleased with the results and relieved to have a safe, hazard-free driveway.

This system would add the layer of protection the homeowner desired, keeping out pests as well as maintaining a dry crawl space. To finish, HomeSpec would add a Sanidry dehumidifier. This would prevent the growth of moisture and mold, creating a healthier living space. Once the homeowner accepted the plan, a team led by Kevin and Jon got to work on the repairs. When the project was done, the homeowner was glad to have a pest-free home and a healthier living area.

While the basement did have an existing discharge, it did not have a WaterGuard® interior drainage system, an UltraSump® Battery Backup System, or a CleanSpace® vapor barrier. Jeremiah shared information about how these waterproofing products could protect the basement from further water damage. The homeowner approved of these recommendations and had them installed by a HomeSpec crew!
