A homeowner in Roseville, MI decided that enough was enough and it was time to get their driveway fixed. Areas had sunken and plants were growing through the cracks. The unlevel concrete had caused damage to one of their cars. The homeowner wanted to leave the house to their son one day so the property needed this maintenance. They called HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair for a free inspection.
The project manager, Noah, looked at all of the concrete on the property and came up with a plan. He explained to the homeowner that the majority of the concrete could be repaired instead of replaced. The sunken slabs could be lifted and leveled using PolyLevel® Injection Foam and the cracks could be sealed using NexusPro sealant. The homeowner approved of this plan and had HomeSpec schedule their crews. Domonique, the PolyLevel foreman, led the lifting and leveling process. Meanwhile, Rick, another foreman, led the process of pouring new concrete in two specific spots. Together, they were able to completely revive the driveway. The homeowner was happy with their work and knew there would be no further issues.
A homeowner in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI had worked with HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair in the past to fix a crack in the basement wall. Unfortunately, the basement had flooded more than once. While the house was being inspected by one of HomeSpec’s senior project managers, Ted, he also suggested new flooring. The homeowner contemplated this option at the time of the crack repair but decided to tackle one issue at a time. A couple of months later, the homeowner reached out to HomeSpec again, this time prepared to install new flooring.
The flooring HomeSpec offers is not your average hardwood or tile flooring. ThermalDry® Basement Floor Tiles are made of waterproof materials that are designed to stay warm and comfortable while also staying dry and mold-free. This homeowner chose the carpet version in the color Mocha. They witnessed the basement transform as Jim and his team installed carpet tiles. They were happy with the finished product and could rest easy knowing the floors would never buckle or peel off of the floor.
A homeowner in Grosse Pointe, MI, was experiencing water leakage throughout their basement. It was creating moisture and mold. They decided to call HomeSpec to get a free inspection of their home. HomeSpec's project manager, Bill, went to give the inspection. He confirmed the water leakage and knew HomeSpec could help.
Bill proposed installing a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System to provide protection to the basement, accompanied by an Interior Drainage System to guide the unwanted water to the sump pump. The homeowners accepted this plan, and Rick from HomeSpec got to work on the installations. The homeowners were glad to have peace of mind regarding their basement.
This home in Grosse Pointe Woods had previously been waterproofed by another company, but they did not have a sump pump installed. As time went on, the homeowner noticed water leaking into the basement again and knew that HomeSpec was the best option to fix everything. HomeSpec’s inspector, Erik, advised that a sump pump as well as a sump pump discharge system would address all of the homeowner’s concerns.
Once approved, HomeSpec’s crew, led by foreman Vernon, came out to the house to install the sump pump and other waterproofing materials. In this case, they used a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System. It now sits comfortably out of the way in one corner of the basement.
A Grosse Pointe Woods homeowner was aware that their basement had been waterproofed in the past but was unaware that the company they used had not fixed all of the problems. It wasn’t until the basement began leaking water again that this homeowner learned they needed help once again. This time, they called HomeSpec.
HomeSpec had one of their inspectors, Erik, go out to the house to investigate. The homeowner was informed that the basement did not have a sump pump, like the TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, or a sump pump drainage system. Erik recommended these solutions, as well as other waterproofing options, and the homeowner approved them. A crew, led by foreman Vernon, later came out to the home for installation. The homeowner now has a dry basement and an aesthetically pleasing yard!
