Jesse is a project manager here at HomeSpec, but he has been involved in concrete work since he was a teenager so he's very familiar with solving concrete issues. He is also trained in lead and asbestos awareness and has certifications in OSHA 30 and forklift driving!
Being a project manager means Jesse spends his time creating a spectrum of solutions for homeowners after inspecting their basement, crawl space and concrete issues. His favorite part about his job is the relaxed atmosphere centered around improving the homes and lives of our customers.
In his free time, you'll find Jesse kayaking, longboarding, relaxing around a campfire or trying to find Detroit's best taqueria!
Pretty much everyone with a basement deals with foundation wall cracks. Some can be left alone, some leak and some indicate larger foundation issues. This large vertical crack in a Westland, Michigan basement would leak after heavy rain and only got larger as time went on. The homeowner finally wanted it repaired permanently and professionally, so she called HomeSpec BasementFix.
Our crack technician Domonique Price filled the crack with a high-pressure urethane injection. This seals the crack and prevents water from leaking through. The process is quick, easy and permanent.
The homeowner was happy that the repair held up against the summer's heavy rains, and now has a dry basement for the first time in a long time!
