Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Grosse Point, MI, Basement Protected from Water Leakage and Ready to be Finished

Homeowners in Grosse Pointe, MI, contacted HomeSpec for help with their basement. They wanted to finish the space, but ongoing water leaks made it unsuitable for living. HomeSpec proposed starting with permanent protection for the basement by installing an  Interior Drainage System connected to a SuperSump® sump pump. The drainage system would capture any unwanted water and direct it to the sump pump for removal, helping to keep the basement dry. Next, HomeSpec recommended installing a CleanSpace® Wall Vapor Barrier System. This would give the basement walls a clean, bright, and reliable finish while helping to manage moisture. To complete the project, HomeSpec suggested adding a SaniDry dehumidifier to reduce humidity levels, control moisture, and create a healthier living environment in the basement. The homeowners agreed to the plan, and a HomeSpec crew led by Travis and Rick got to work.
