A homeowner in New Hudson, MI was using part of their basement as a store room. Unfortunately, they noticed a water leak following heavy rains. It seemed to be in the same area as a repair done by the previous owner. Fixing this basement leak was a top priority. The homeowner called HomeSpec Waterproofing and Foundation Repair for a free estimate.
Ted, one of HomeSpec’s senior project managers, arrived for the appointment and met with the homeowner. They discussed concerns about the basement leak as well as other things the homeowner found worrisome given the house’s newness. After a thorough evaluation, Ted recommended fixing the leak using a high pressure urethane injection. This technique would fill any voids on the outside of the foundation wall and prevent further leaks. The crack itself would then be sealed on the inner basement wall. The homeowner agreed to this repair plan and was happy with the completed project.
